Simone Kliass

Simone Kliass is an innovation consultant, public speaker, voice artist, and immersive content researcher who explores narrative forms beyond traditional audiovisual production. She is a co-founder and board member of the Brazilian Association of Extended Reality (XRBR); the president of the XR, Games, and Metaverse committee at IAB Brasil; and a lead ambassador for Women in Voice. Simone has given talks at SXSW, OCDE Inaugural Forum (Paris), Immerse Global Summit, Rio2C, and consulted for companies like Meta and Unilever.

One of the most sought-after voice artists in the Brazilian advertising market, Simone has won several international awards for her work behind the microphone. She recorded the Portuguese narration for the immersive interactive experience "The Line," which received a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media.

In her fifth year as an SXSW mentor, Simone will focus on opportunities in XR, spatial computing, and voice markets. She will also explore how brands and professionals can tell more immersive and interactive stories using AI, virtual, augmented, mixed reality, voice tech, virtual worlds to create brand activations, advertising campaigns, theatrical pieces, and experiences where the consumer gains protagonism and agency.
