For over two decades, Mona May has created unforgettable costumes for major motion pictures and television that have become a part of pop culture history. Mona injects bold confidence into her costume designs, and has created characters across beloved films including Enchanted, The Wedding Singer, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Never Been Kissed, A Night at the Roxbury, Stuart Little 2, and Clueless — from which her work revolutionized the fashion landscape and continues to inspire designers today. Her most recent work can be seen in Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet and Mixtape, Peacock’s Punk Brewster reboot, Disney+’s women-empowered superhero movie Flora & Ulysses, and the Amazon Studios thriller Role Play, starring Kaley Cuoco. Aside from her work in entertainment, Mona provides guidance to young creatives as a mentor, empowering them to be themselves and embrace their own unique creativity without fear of judgment. She gives keynote speeches around costuming and creative storytelling, consults for global brands, and is currently working on a book that is centered on the incredible world of costume design.
