Robb Smigielski
Robb’s 24+ year career has spanned across many creative disciplines including brand identity, visual design, digital product development, social media and advertising. He’s been with VML for the last 16 years, having most recently completed a five year stint as Executive Creative Director of VMLY&R London. He currently serves as Chief Design Officer for VML in North America leading the Brand Identity and Design studio.
Most recently, Robb led the complete global brand identity refresh of Intel, tackling just about every aspect of brand expression and identity possible over the course of 3.5 years. He’s also led branding and design efforts for large consumer brands like Ringling Brothers, Dell, Solidigm, Smartwater, Sam’s Club, Genentech (Ocrevus), start-ups like The House of Marley, financial disruptors like Starling Bank as well as branding the first secular ‘church’ in the UK, The Sunday Assembly.
He believes an organization’s ability to wield design to powerfully manifest its existence is the most important product a brand can create.
