Fred Shallcrass

Fred grew up in Aotearoa, New Zealand where he began his career in editorial design. After moving to New York and attending Type@Cooper he started working for Frere-Jones Type, where he remains. In addition to designing type, Fred leads workshops at Cooper Union and is an adjunct professor at Parsons, where he teaches typeface design.
