As a visionary founder, captivating storyteller, fierce mama warrior, and catalyst for anti-racism, she empowers individuals and organizations to create transformative change. With over 25 years of experience in social impact and education, Verta has honed her expertise in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences across diverse industries.
In 2017, Verta co-founded 45 Lemons, a company where she collaborates with her co-founder, Naa Yirenkyi, to guide individuals and organizations in exploring their racial autobiographies and identifying their core motivators. Together, they facilitate personal growth and empower people to take action in dismantling racism within their lifetime.
In 2020, Verta's visionary spirit led her to co-found the*gamerHERs, a trailblazing women-led media company and community that elevates the voices of women and femme-identifying individuals in the video game industry. Additionally, she plays a vital role as a board member and founding team member at Civics Unplugged, nurturing exceptional Generation Z leaders on their path to becoming civic superheroes and revitalizing our democracy.
