Chassidy Jade is an established film editor and indie director with over 10 years of experience. As a troubled teenager, she worked under a beloved mentor working local concerts and later received a scholarship graduating top of her class from Miami International University of Art & Design. Jade made her directorial debut with a self-written short film Brown Ballerina, which was selected to Toronto Shorts, and later became a staff director for Procter & Gamble. In 2020, she made history, as the first minority senior editor for the NBA during the 2020 Bubble. She recently worked under Parallax Post LA known for Beyonce's Lemonade and Oscar-nominated film Everything Everywhere All At Once. Jade currently owns her own film editing company Editbae Post and is the Post Advisor for The Black Girls Film Camp. Her credits include Beats by Dre, Nike, Savage Fenty, BET, Superbowl, and more. Her non-profit Crown Me Royal Labs curates art shows for emerging mixed-media female artists. With Southern and Caribbean Roots, Chassidy is an advocate for expanding creative media education for minority professionals in the southern region and curating opportunities for female artists.
