Jorge Loweree
Jorge Loweree is the Managing Director of Programs at the American Immigration Council where he oversees the Council’s litigation, transparency, policy, and direct services work, helping to protect and welcome immigrants and promote inclusive immigration policies across the United States. Previously, Jorge spent a decade working in with the U.S. House of Representatives, in addition to spending several years assisting immigrants directly impacted by our broken immigration system in Colorado. He grew up in Juárez, Mexico, and holds a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the Saint Mary's University.
