Wade Davis
Wade Davis is the VP of Computational Science at Moderna where he leads a diverse team of more than 50 scientists. In his role, he leads wet and dry lab teams using the latest methods to solve complex problems, including quantum computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Prior to Moderna, Wade held other roles including VP of Analytics at Karius and Global Head of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in the Genomics Research Center among other leadership titles at AbbVie.
Wade started his career as an Assistant Professor at Baylor University after earning his PhD in Statistics from University of Missouri and completing an NIH Fellowship in Biomedical Informatics. He later returned to University of Missouri as an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine.
