Pedro Kurtz

Pedro Kurtz is the Head of Music (Content, Editorial, Artist & Industry Relations) of LATAM for Deezer. In October 2020 he was given the mission to enlarge the French DSP’s presence in Brazil – where it holds the second position in market share – with a much more local editorial strategy and a new set of Music and Podcast Originals. A little more than two years later, Deezer users found the first five unprecedented Viacom’s Porta dos Fundos’ podcasts and 5 brand new Music Originals, including Deezer Brazil’s most streamed original project, Forró Viral – a portrait of the viral factor within Brazil’s then fastest growing music genre – with 11 exclusive original tracks, alongside a 50 minute documentary.
