Chrystian Woods
Chrystian Woods is an engaging political strategist and civic leader who champions underrepresented communities in politics through her principled and thoughtful management of electoral and issue-based campaigns. Her background in campaign management, community organizing, and advocacy makes her an experienced advocate who is deeply passionate about southern organizing and serving communities of color.
Prior to joining the Hub, she served as a Senior Advisor to the Democratic Party of Georgia’s coordinated campaign in 2022. In this role, she was instrumental in developing and implementing campaign strategies that helped the party achieve historic victories in Georgia.
A Georgia Native, Chrystian is widely recognized for her innovative approach to campaign management and voter outreach, having played a key role in flipping major counties, including Cobb and Gwinnett, in Georgia during the 2016 Presidential election cycle. She has held several leadership positions in the DPG, including serving as Interim Executive Director and Senior Field Advisor.
Additionally, the former Executive Director of BridgeTogether and State Campaigns Director for NARAL Pro-Choice America she has worked as a Campaign Manager and National Director of Outreach at the Presidential campaign level, including National Director of Outreach for Beto for America and organizing for Hillary for America across several states.
Chrystian holds a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and enjoys spending free time with friends, family, and her dog Milo. Outside of work, you can typically find her getting lost in a good book, curating a playlist, stamping her passport, or honing her skills as a home chef.
