Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

As the first-ever female wrestler signed to AEW, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. has evolved from a homegrown talent into a household name over the last five years. The only fully licensed and practicing dentist in professional wrestling, the former AEW Women’s World Champion embodies modern entrepreneurship, often wrestling one evening and taking a red eye home to perform root canals the next morning. Her signature “D-M-D” finger-point catchphrase has captivated fans across North America, making her a staple of AEW’s women’s division where she reigned as world champion for 290 days.

In just a few short years, Britt has permeated pop culture outside of professional wrestling, appearing on Apple TV’s Carpool Karaoke and Jon Taffer’s Bar Rescue, throwing out first pitches and appearing as featured guests for all of her hometown Pittsburgh sports teams. She starred in the TBS reality series AEW: All Access alongside her real-life boyfriend and fellow AEW wrestler Adam Cole.

The Punxsutawney, PA native’s impact within professional wrestling has already been solidified, as she earned Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Match of the Year, Woman of the Year and Most Improved Wrestler in 2021.
