Jason Lester

Jason Lester is a filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA, and one of the co-chairs of the organization We Direct Music Videos.

Jason has directed over 125 music videos for some of today's biggest indie and pop artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Jack White, Hozier, Ashe, Maren Morris, Laufey, The War On Drugs, SG Lewis, Conan Gray, Kali Uchis, Rostam, Ty Dolla $ign, Alesso, Zara Larsson, Animal Collective, Julia Michaels, Finneas, OneRepublic, Bebe Rexha, Sabrina Carpenter, Lauv, Madison Beer, 5 Seconds of Sumer, First Aid Kit, Wallows, and numerous others.

His second feature film as writer/director, Replay, will be released later in 2024.

His first feature, High Resolution, an adaptation of Tao Lin's critically acclaimed novel Taipei, starring Ellie Bamber, Justin Chon, Hannah Marks, and Miles Robbins, was released domestically in 2018 on Showtime & worldwide in 2019 through 20th Century Fox Int.

He holds a BFA with Honors in Film Production from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
