Tanvi Kanakia

Tanvi is a seasoned design consultant with over a decade of experience in placing humans at the center of transformational projects. She works with Fortune 500 companies and startups alike to build a better customer experience, co-create products and services, create memorable brands and infuse design into their culture.

Prior to this, she was the co-founder of The Design Grid, a design studio based in India, with a focus on creating a competitive advantage for businesses using design.

She has a master's in Strategic Design and Management from the reputed Parsons School of Design in New York and a bachelor's in design from the National Institute of Design, India's premier design school.

On a mission to make design accessible to more people - she has conducted multiple workshops on the topics of visual communication for better collaboration and innovation for the likes of Creative Mornings and Women In Innovation. She even designed a deck of cards, aptly called Nudge Cards, that help creators get unstuck at different points in the innovation process. She co-published a dictionary of tools to create a common language for innovation which is now being converted into a book.
