George Damian

George Damian serves as a catalyst, coach and advisor to a broad range of individuals and teams seeking to achieve audacious goals. From creatives to scientists and everything in between, George helps people wrestle with big challenges as they chart a path forward.

Having started his career in the energy industry, George has worked on some of the world's largest industrial projects, including the turnaround of what would become the world's second largest oil field: Rumaila in Iraq.

After pivoting towards technology, George has worked with dozens of start-up founders, including through his work with Creative Destruction Lab, a non-profit incubator committed to supporting deep technology startups with the potential to be massively scalable.

Ever a pragmatist, George has adapted his approach to innovation to his philanthropic efforts, founding The Damian Foundation in 2015 to provide risk capital to promising organizations committed to delivering material change in their sector.
