Thomas Heibel
T.J. Heibel joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2015 where he represents PNNL’s renewable energy work with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Office. As PNNL’s Renewable Energy Lead, T.J. works with DOE across their portfolio of renewable technologies to translate R&D into impact for people and the environment. Before joining PNNL T.J. worked in DOE’s Wind and Water Power Technologies Office and the Bioenergy Technologies Office, as well as for The Nature Conservancy’s global priority setting team.
T.J. received his BS in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from the University of California, San Diego (2003) and his MS in Conservation Biology from The University of Queensland in Australia (2005).
