Alex Whedon

Alex Whedon is a business founder, a full-stack dev, and a published Gen AI researcher who has built dozens of 0->1 Gen AI products at multiple Silicon Valley companies over the last 6 years. Alex most recently comes from Meta and previously built the first text-based recommendation system at Stitch Fix. At Megagon Labs, the NLP research arm of a $27B Japanese holdings company, Alex built the infra platform from scratch, built the first production NLP solutions for sister companies Glassdoor and Indeed, and published two research papers. Previously, Alex built the first ML solutions at Academia.edu, a 150MM-user open research platform. Alex is currently the CEO of SHA257, a Gen AI consultancy, and the CEO of multiple micro-venture SaaS companies in the AI space.
