David Mckay

David McKay is the Co-Founder and CEO of the artist ticketing company Seated (www.seated.com). David started his career working for CAA talent agent, Matt Galle (Shawn Mendes, My Chemical Romance), running digital for Matt's record label, Photo Finish Records. David then joined the founding team at Applauze, and ran the ticketing business from launch until its acquisition by Ticketmaster in late 2016. David started Seated in 2017 to empower artists to take control of their ticketing experience. Seated has now become a crucial part of the touring business for clients such as John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend, The Chainsmokers, Harry Styles, Brandi Carlile, and Green Day. Seated was acquired by Sofar Sounds in 2021.
