Peter Deng

Peter Deng is the VP of Consumer at OpenAI, where he leads ChatGPT product, engineering, and design with the goal of making AI useful, accessible, and beneficial for everyone. He believes "We're at the crossroads of a new era in computing, and there is so much to be built. From pioneering new interaction paradigms to crafting assistive capabilities that make people more productive and creative, we’ve only just scratched the surface."

Previously, he served as Chief Product Officer at Airtable, and before that was Head of Rider at Uber. He spent nearly a decade at Facebook starting in 2007 where he led product efforts around News Feed and Messenger before becoming Instagram’s first Head of Product in 2014.
