Sidney Klajner

Sidney Klajner is a digestive system and colorectal surgeon and President of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein since 2016. Prior to that, he was Vice President of the organization from 2010 to 2016. He has an undergraduate, residency, and master's degrees from the University of São Paulo Medical School, and he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Klajner is currently coordinator of the Colorectal Certificate Program and a professor of the Executive MBA in Health Management at the Israelita Institute for Teaching & Research at Einstein. He is proud to be the author of the book "The Digital Revolution in Health."
In 2023, Klajner was the first representative of a Brazilian health organization to deliver a speech at SXSW, on the topic "Five Ways to Use Technology for Health Equity."
