Tom Riley

Hey there! I'm Tom. I've been working in the music industry for over 10 years and I'm currently based in Bristol, about 2 hours west of London. In fact, Bristol is where it all started for me. I initially co-founded an artist development agency called Catalyst. It wasn't long before I was introduced to the good people over at Mainstage Artists in London. I would go on to spend 2 years at Mainstage as a junior booking agent, during which I'd discover an artist called Skrillex. I loved working with Skrillex and his forward-thinking team. In fact, when Team Skrillex called me about a label imprint called OWSLA, I jumped at the opportunity to get involved. I ended up running all European operations for OWSLA and I spent a total of 8 years working with OWSLA and Team Skrillex.
In October 2019 I joined a thriving startup called Pretzel, a music solution for broadcasters on Twitch. 2020 witnessed Pretzel's first private round of investment that catapulted the company into an exceptional period of growth. This resulted in Pretzel being acquired by Songtradr in April 2021 in a series of acquisitions that cemented Songtradr as the largest music marketplace in the world. Some of these acquisitions include Massive Music, Big Sync, 7digital and more recently, Bandcamp.
As of 2024 I am the Director of Smart Sync Services at Songtradr. My aim is to provide a wealth of commercial licensing opportunities to rights-holders all over the world and join the dots between great music and forward thinking brands. I look forward to meeting you!
