Mona Sabet
Mona currently serves as Chief Corporate Development and Administration Officer at VulcanForms, an advanced digital manufacturing company using the power of a fleet of proprietary 100-kilowatt class laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing systems, automated precision machining centers, advanced heat treatment and surface engineering systems, all focused on bringing sustainable advanced manufacturing to the U.S. Prior to VulcanForms, Mona served as Chief Corporate Strategy Officer at UserTesting, a San Francisco based SaaS company offering the fastest platform for accessing your customer’s perspective to create any experience with confidence. During her tenure at UserTesting, she built the corporate development, partnerships and legal teams from the ground up, secured the first set of technology partnerships for the company, closed a number of acquisitions, helped lead the company’s $100M funding round, and took the company public on the New York Stock Exchange. Mona negotiated UserTesting’s acquisition, valued at $1.3B, by Thoma Bravo and subsequent merger with a Thoma Bravo portfolio company.
Before UserTesting, Mona served as Managing Director of Tribal Advisors, an M&A advisory firm helping startups exit through an acquisition to some of the largest technology companies. Prior to that, Mona was Corporate Vice President, Business Development at Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ: CDNS), where she rebuilt the corporate development team, led multiple acquisitions, and ran strategic transactions and venture investments. Mona has also been an operator in two early-stage startups: Coverity (acquired by Synopsys) led the market in automating the identification of software vulnerabilities; Viblio pioneered automated tagging of user generated videos using machine learning and computer vision.
Mona's leadership extends beyond the C-suite, serving on boards and advisory boards for startups and organizations that support them.
