Optimizing Human Performance Through Nutrition

Nutrition is a key factor in maintaining health and wellness, but also directly impacts human performance. Army nutrition research specializes in understanding the unique nutritional requirements of individuals performing across high stress, high stakes environments. The application of performance nutrition can be targeted across three distinct phases, the proactive, active, and reactive phases, to best optimize performance. From elite to recreational athletes, cutting edge nutrition guidance requires bridging the gap between sports nutrition research to application in combat readiness.
