In the context of the diaspora, Salvador was the stage where several manifestations of the black population took root, building the image of being the blackest city in Brazil. Today, the city carries the African influence in culture, arts, gastronomy, being all these its great uniqueness.
In this session, we'll present the Salvador Capital Afro movement, a set of innovative public policies to develop afrotourism, which articulates the strengthening of the black creative industry, the black population self-esteem, international promotion and is becoming a powerful city branding strategy.
