The ethics of technology and design have been discussed for years, yet products can still create harm and negatively impact marginalized and underinvested communities. There is increasing importance placed on product equity and how to build inclusive products for historically marginalized people including those of color, LGBTQ+, and disabled communities. But how can we build equitable products while still questioning the ethics of products? This session features leaders from organizations addressing product equity at scale, each with their own perspective on the ways forward.
