Bringing Accessibility To XR Games

Mar 12, 2024

10:00am – 11:00am CT

Virtual, augmented, and mixed reality are rapidly emerging, leaving 1 billion people with disabilities behind, and many more if we account for temporary disabilities such as having a broken bone or surgery. This panel brings together the pioneers of XR accessibility — game developers, accessibility researchers, innovators, and people with disabilities — to explore how XR games can incorporate inclusive design practices, processes, and tools into the development cycle and ensure that people with disabilities take an active role in shaping the future of XR.
