Blizzard’s Story and Franchise Development (SFD) department is a dedicated creative team that has been building cinematics, books, and more in support of legendary games for decades. Within SFD is a group of filmmakers who help bring the world and characters of such iconic franchises as Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch to life - for players around the world. We will dive into managing the creative process, building these experiences cross-discipline, share tricks of the trade from character development to storyboarding and the latest tech in hand-crafting 3D visuals and animations.
