GONE, by Rink Rat Productions
This cinematic VR film brings to life the imagination of a post-apocalyptic world through a high fidelity virtual environment that combines volumetric footage; 360° camera scans; photogrammetry; and 3D animation in Unity's HDRP render pipeline. Using the Tablelands of Gros Morne Newfoundland as a background for a strange land where anything is possible; GONE playfully and philosophically explores aging; existence; and the future of humanity. In a world where it is no longer possible to view ourselves as separate from the past and future; where does one world end and the other begin?
