PAPISA is Rita Oliva, singer, songwriter, and producer who explores the connections between Brazilian music and psychedelic dreamy indie pop. She took part in bands Cabana Café and Parati before launching her solo work with EP Papisa (PWR Records, 2016), followed by single Pressão (Freak, 2017), the album "Fenda" (2019), its twin "Remixes da Fenda" (2020) and single Melhor Assim (Costa Futuro, 2023).

PAPISA has established herself as a significant figure in Brazilian independent music scene during the last 7 years, performing on stages and festivals such as Bananada (GO-BR), Festival Picnik (DF-BR), Festival Path (SP-BR), Festival Contato (SP-BR), SESC Pompeia (SP-BR). She also tool her music abroad in 2018 to SXSW in Austin (TX-USA), and to Portugal in 2019, where she recorded a single and videoclip.

With a new record to be released in 2024 and recently signed by Spanish label Costa Futuro, she takes her career to a new step, expanding internationally as she prepares to tour across Brazil, the US and Europe.
