Alejaina is a record collector and selector from Michoacán based in Mexico City since 2011. Her music selection explores the connections between Latin American music and electronic sounds always with a twist of eclectic surprises through her sets.

Alejaina has performed at numerous music festivals, parties and radio shows such as: Bahidorá (MX), Jazz & Rhythms Festival (MX), Nochenegra (MX), Dior Cruise 2023 after party (CDMX), House of Vans (MX), The Lot Radio (NYC), Loose FM (UK), and more from Mexico's independent music scene like: Drama Radio, NoFM Radio, Aire Libre FM, Vulvasónica, Radio Cósmica Libre and Sacré Records.

She’s been a DJ resident of Nochenegra collective since 2019 which seeks to strengthen and promote the female presence in the vinyl music world making them more diverse and rich.
