Howler Honey is a duo on the rise based in Venice, CA consisting of vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Matt Wayne and Julianne Jean who produce a unique smoky blend of psychedelic rock soul. They call their sonic neon-lit atmosphere “California Noir”.
Their critically acclaimed debut album, “1st Street Dream” was released on March 31st, 2023 with their sophomore coming this Spring. They’ve received press and radio airplay globally being featured as the Artist Spotlight on SoCal Sound 88.5 FM, KXLU Radio 88.9FM, AUX RTN Podcast, Unquiet Live Series, played the first ever virtual reality Burning Man Festival being the largest virtual reality event in history, a featured band on Norm’s Rare Guitars, Jam In The Van, Sunset Sound Studio’s “Into The Vault” series, Medicine Box's “Tree Talks” and more. They’ve also contributed guitar work to the Emmy Award winning Netflix documentary, “Wild Wild Country” as well as most recently featured vocals on the Hulu series “Death and Other Details”.
