With a soundscape characterized by raw acoustic tones and atmospheric synth leads, Marcel Heym, aka orbit, has discovered a way to express his immersive dream world and blend it with images of life in the countryside.

A few weeks after escaping the noise of Berlin and returning to his hometown, he launched his own music project, a nostalgic dedication to his roots, and released his debut EP "Perspectives" in 2020.

The project organically found a great resonance and with a creative friends collective Marcel started to realize more music releases, self-made merchandise and a DIY tour, building a community inside and outside the internet.

One year later, his first official headline tour in Germany sold out, and another year later, in 2023, his first European tour followed. Meanwhile orbits songs have been listened to over 50 Mio. times and the tracks "Perspectives" and "Friday" went organically viral.

Now, in 2024, orbit and his friends are expanding their reach, performing concerts from Iceland to the US. They are also taking DIY concerts to a new level, this time playing for the first time in Mexico - organized with the support of their international community.
