Coach Tev, born in Irving, Texas, where he found his calling and significant success, and will likely end his storied creative career as a student. Anything he’s claimed a passion or expressed interest in, began as a methodical, self-imposed curriculum that ultimately informed his expertise in the subject. Revealed in his earliest hobbies was not only Tev's keenness for multimedia production, editing and ultimately film (he actually has a bachelor's degree in Film) – but learning that enjoying something would almost always lead to the reverse-engineering of whatever that was, in an effort to provide his own interpretation of it. While Coach Tev’s early musical influences were curated by the tastes of his parents, he found himself re-enrolling into the school of HOW during the Limewire era. The creativity of wordplay resonated with Tev who, as a high schooler at the time, found a creative outlet in storytelling. TEV worked his way onto the Dallas Rap scene and online music community following a three-peat of releases that were each publicized or promoted by bonafide Hip Hop outlets.
