Naomi Wright is a Film & TV Producer at The SpringHill Company and Co-Founder of the women of color network Fortune & Forks. Her work as a producer in the Unscripted and Documentaries space lives at the intersection of Pop Culture, Entertainment and Social Impact with a specific aim of amplifying stories of Black people and women. Prior to her role at SpringHill co-executive producing projects under the leadership of principals LeBron James & Maverick Carter, Naomi developed and produced a number of documentaries and short films at Nas’ media company Mass Appeal including Ice Cold: The Promise of HipHop Jewelry, City Girls: Point Blank Period, Young Dolph’s Turned Dirt Into Diamonds, Chris Long’s Impact & Influence, and Ancestry.com’s Railroad Ties. Her dinner series Fortune and Forks, which developed through key partnerships with brands like Samsung, Snapchat and Converse, offers professional support and networking opportunities to young, ambitious women of color who embody what it take to thrive in media, business & more. Naomi previously worked on the Music, Specials & News team at BET and made her first film through a grant in high school about the lack of support for formerly incarcerated teens in Harlem & the South Bronx.
