Creator
nahright.com

Ahsmi Rawlins grew up in southwest Yonkers, working in tech-support for a New York publishing company --the only people who called him “eskay” were friends and family. In 2005, when Ahsmi founded nahright.com under the pseudonym “eskay” he aspired to give a voice to an entire generation of hip-hop aficionados, democratize talent discovery and usher in an era of new-age music journalism. Over the course of 10 years, Nah Right would become the one-stop shop for the latest music news, mixtapes, track listings, and singles with a loyal fan base that averaged over 600,000 unique visitors a month.

eskay now sits atop a digital legacy that’s been recognized by the likes of Rolling Stone, XXL magazine, and many more. A creator, innovator and hip-hop savant, Ahsmi ‘eskay’ Rawlins, gave a voice to the voiceless, from a $10 domain purchase to opening the doors for the artists we know and love today. He is back to speak for the first time to re-live and re-tell the story of the moment in time he helped create, affectionately known as ‘The Blog Era.’
