Will Graham is the showrunner, executive producer, and a director of Amazon Studios highly anticipated limited series Daisy Jones and the Six. Based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, Daisy Jones & The Six follows the rise and precipitous fall of a renowned rock band in the 1970’s. The series stars Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, and Suki Waterhouse and is also being produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine.
Graham is the co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer, and a director of Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures critically acclaimed series, A League of Their Own which premiered this past summer. Inspired by the joyful tones of the original feature film, A League of Their Own captures the spirit of Penny Marshall’s cherished classic while widening the lens to tell new stories of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball. The series is produced through Graham’s Field Trip Production Company under his overall deal with Amazon.
In 2017, Graham founded the Field Trip Production Company alongside his former UTA agent Hailey Wierengo. Through his company, Graham strives to create and work on projects that, much like A League of Their Own, are queer inclusive, joyful, smart and interesting. Currently, Graham and his company have a number of projects in different stages of development including Amazon’s new comedy series Nigerian Princess, created by Ziwe and executive produced by Graham and Field Trip Production Company, among a number of forthcoming projects.
Graham’s other credits include directing and executive producing Amazon’s Emmy and Golden Globe winning series Mozart in the Jungle and writing on Amazon’s comedy series Alpha House. Graham served as one of the original founding members of The Onion’s Onion News Network web series and won a Peabody Award for his directing and executive producing work on the show. He subsequently served as showrunner on IFC’s The Onion News Network series.
