John Rich

John Rich is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for PACCAR Inc. In this role his responsibility includes diesel and zero emissions propulsion, autonomous vehicles, and connectivity. Prior to joining PACCAR, John worked for 30 years at Ford Motor Company where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Autonomous Vehicles and Technology, Chief Operating Officer of Ford Autonomous Vehicles LLC, Executive Director of Global Strategy; Vehicle Line Director, and multiple Chief Engineer positions. He spent over a third of his career outside of the United States, including six years in China.
John is a graduate of Boston University, the University of Michigan, and Harvard Business School.
