S. Vincent Rajkumar, MD

S. Vincent Rajkumar, MD, is the Edward W. and Betty Knight Scripps Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and Editor-in-Chief of Blood Cancer Journal. He also serves as the Associate Editor for: Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Leukemia, and European Journal of Hematology. He is the recipient several academic awards including the Robert A. Kyle Lifetime Achievement Award for myeloma research (2016), the Giants of Cancer Care Award (2019), and the Jan Waldenstrom Award for Lifetime Achievement in myeloma research (2021). He was named Mayo Clinic Distinguished Investigator in 2018. Dr. Rajkumar is recognized internationally as a leading authority in the field of plasma cell disorders. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed original research papers, and over 200 reviews and book chapters. He advocates for lower prices of prescription drugs.
