As Tourism Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Susan is responsible for driving the organization’s global marketing strategy, ensuring that Australia’s tourism marketing efforts continue to cut through in the competitive international marketplace.Susan has led the creative development for global award-winning campaigns such as Dundee with Chris Hemsworth, Matesong with Kylie Minogue - as well as the domestic Holiday Here This Year campaign in response to a post-bushfire and post-pandemic world.In October 2022, the Come and Say G’day campaign introduced the world to Tourism Australia’s new brand ambassador, Ruby, a CGI souvenir kangaroo voiced by Aussie actor Rose Byrne. Central to the campaign was G’day - a live-action short film directed by acclaimed Australian director Michael Gracey.
