Hayley Pepler
Hayley is a Writer, Director and Producer creating and supporting interdisciplinary work across the digital space ranging from arts television, comedy, theatre, music and live broadcast to mixed reality. Driven by a deep sense of the importance of owning identity and sharing unheard story, Hayley’s work is characterised by humour, compassion and connection. A journalist and TV Producer, Hayley spent nine years with The Royal Shakespeare Company’s cinema broadcast project filming more than thirty plays from the stage in Stratford Upon Avon, refining and eventually redefining the hybrid arts capture form with All’s Well That Ends Well which she co-directed for the screen. Two years ago Hayley moved to lead the Content and Digital Broadcast functions for the 2021 UK City of Culture, where she oversaw delivery of more than 400 films and broadcasts and also supported the profiling of the culture year on television, including producing the TV version of Nitin Sawnhey’s Ghosts in the Ruins music and poetry performance capture programme for BBC4. Hayley joined Factory International as Senior Digital Project Manager in January, where she will drive key digital, film and immersive projects throughout the course of this year.
