Christopher Ries

Christopher Ries was an early hire at Cylance Inc. where he was a core contributor in data science and product management areas (acquired by BlackBerry for $1.4B). More recently, he brought to market multiple 0 to 1 security products for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a Group Product Manager with P&L responsibilities. Christopher graduated from UC Irvine with an ICS B.S. focused on subject areas like: human computer interaction, cryptology, and malware analysis. His background in distributed systems was a core contributor for getting him excited to work with smart contracts and now is a founder at a Web3 company focused on simplifying cross-chain payments (SphereOne).
