Liz Coufal

Liz is passionate about tearing down barriers to exclusive spaces - from politics to AI.

Starting her career in climate justice, she's now the Senior Director of Growth & Impact at Valkyrie, an industry leading AI and ML firm. In 2020, she launched Valkyrie's social impact initiative to democratize AI through pro-bono work for non-profits and investments in the next generation of diverse scientists.

Outside of tech, Liz co-founded a civic activation organization, GoodPolitics, dedicated to making democracy more accessible, human and fun. Over the years, this organization has introduced thousands of people to their political candidates and registered hundreds to vote. She's also served as an advisor to numerous campaigns and civic engagement boards.
