Raphael Gielgen
Hello, my Name is Raphael Gielgen and I work as a trendscout for the company Vitra. My irrepressible curiosity, my restless quest for explanations, and my delight at upending everything can occasionally make me an uncomfortable companion. I visit over one hundred companies, universities and startup in a single year; the world is my workplace, and the future is my area of research. My work informs Vitra´s approach to improving the quality of offices and public spaces through the power of design by serving the varied Vitra team with the results of my observations and cognitions by trend clusters, market analysis and business cases. I documents the insights and experiences on a panorama, a map of the trends and patterns of a new world. I live privately on a small farm close to the Bavarian forest. An idyllic place surrounded by nature. Here I live tied to the cycles of nature and i love to think beyond the day in this place
