Soy Kim is a bridge builder. Bicultural and bilingual, with a native understanding of both the US and Korea’s media and consumer cultures, Soy has set the groundwork for first-in-market collaborations between the two markets from both sides of the globe. As a marketing executive, Soy has spearheaded digital marketing campaigns for artists such as BTS, John Legend, Baby Keem, Chloe x Halle, and 24kGoldn, among others. Previously, she worked across blockbuster film productions at media giant CJ ENM's Seoul headquarters, where her work blended global and local marketing and distribution strategy.

Today, Soy works as a product marketer at the intersection of creator monetization, music marketing, and tech strategy at Spotify. Here, she serves as a leader for SPACE, Spotify’s Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community group of 600+ employees, where she leads strategic programming and partnerships that drive API awareness and inclusion, from Spotify’s Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month to fireside chats with API thought leaders. Soy was honored in the 2021 Alt Power 100 Music List.

Soy has been invited to guest lecture at USC School of Annenberg, and as a panelist or moderator to industry conferences such as Music Biz, NY:LON CONNECT, Country Radio Seminar, and #NEXTGEN_NOW. A champion of amplifying underrepresented voices in media, Soy serves as a mentor for national non-profit Asian American Collective.

Outside of work, Soy enjoys traveling, spinning live DJ sets, and trying new sports. She is a massive sports fans and believes in the elevation of global culture through sport -- and the urgency of improving DE&I pipelines in sports.
