Regina Banali
Regina Banali has over 30 years of on set experience as an actress, producer, director and Intimacy Coordinator. One of her first roles as an actress was playing one of the three mermaids who save Robin Williams's character in Steven Spielberg’s Hook. She directed and produced a feature-length documentary called about the hard rock band Quiet Riot. It premiered on the Showtime Network in 2015.
As an actress she has appeared in nude and simulated love scenes in over 40 films and television shows. Her Intimacy Coordinator credits include "American Horror Stories", (Ryan Murphy/HULU) "Into The Dark" (Blumhouse/HULU) and "Nash Bridges" (USA Network). She is a leader in changing the way the industry works with performers doing hyper exposed scene work in film and television and is one of only 32 in the US to be accredited by SAG-AFTRA as a qualified Intimacy Coordinator. Regina is President and CEO of Intimacy Coordinators Alliance for Film and Television. (ICAFT) which trains and qualifies Intimacy Coordinators who are industry veterans with the experience, training, and passion for protecting artists on set that is essential to do this sensitive work.
