Ritu Thamman, MD, FASE, FACC
Dr. Ritu Thamman is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and a preeminent voice in cardiology. She sits on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Echocardiography and is the co-editor of the book, Prevention of Burnout in Medicine, designed to provide practical guidance for healthcare professionals to identify, mitigate and prevent burnout. Her writing and interpretation of scientific articles has led to her being a top influencer for the ACC, AHA, ASE and European Congress of Cardiology. She is a national and international figure for social media for advocacy and education for cardiologists. She can speak to the environmental factors leading to burnout and their impact.
