Elaine Lissner
Elaine is the founder of the Parsemus Foundation, one of the few foundations conducting research on male contraceptives. She has led Parsemus Foundation to debunk medical myths and develop new low-cost healthcare options for humans and animals. She also serves as managing director of the social venture Revolution Contraceptives, which is developing Vasalgel – a nonhormonal, long-acting male contraceptive. Elaine was founder and director of the Male Contraception Information Project in the early 1990s and director from 2001 until passing the baton to the newly-formed Male Contraception Initiative (now the Male Contraceptive Initiative) in 2014-2015.
