Nayeema Raza is a producer and journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine and Tribeca Film Festival. She is the Executive Producer of the Vox Media podcast "On with Kara Swisher," and co-hosts the show's intro and outro segments every Monday and Thursday alongside veteran business and tech journalist Kara Swisher.
Nayeema was previously a Senior Editor and Senior Producer at The New York Times, where she ran the Opinion podcast Sway and was part of the Opinion Video team. She continues to be a contributor to The New York Times, where she has published Video Op-Eds on topics like immigration and election predictions, and written essays on topics like dating and grief.
Nayeema started her career in international development consulting and obtained an MBA at Stanford before taking the non-sequitur path to journalism and filmmaking. Her film and TV credits include producing the documentary feature “Sublime,” which premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, and executive producing the Richard Linklater CBS All Access documentary series, “That Animal Rescue Show,” which was short-listed for the 2020 Telluride Film Festival.
