Anna Bond
Anna Bond is the Head of Creative and Partnerships for Songtrust, the world’s largest global royalty collection service and publishing administrator. She leads the company’s creative strategy, branding, messaging, and client-focused business partnerships.
Bond is rounding out her twentieth year in in the music industry, most recently as US GM for storied indie Rough Trade Records (Houndmouth, Parquet Courts), and including roles at experimental rock label FatCat Records (Múm, Frightened Rabbit), and independent label distributor Secretly Distribution. She has also worked in artist management as well as marketing and label relations roles with online music retailers. Throughout her work, Anna has been committed to helping musicians develop careers, and enabling them to grow larger audiences for their unique visions.
In 2021, Bond oversaw a Songtrust rebrand, which included a full visual identity update, a brand messaging overhaul, a website re-launch, and a full re-write and re-envisioning of key educational resource The Modern Guide to Music Publishing. That same month, she and her team produced the first-ever client-only Songtrust Summit event, a virtual conference with more than 2500 registrants and 1500 attendees. Formerly on the Business Development team, when there Bond brought on board business clients like New Earth (Deuter), Average Joe’s (Colt Ford, Bubba Sparxx), Cold Chillin’ (Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane), and Secretly Publishing (Japanese Breakfast, Songs of Numero, Ghostly), among many others.
