Ni-ka Ford

Ni-ka is a Board-Certified Medical Illustrator and founder of Enlight Visuals a scientific and medical visualization studio. She creates didactic inclusive illustrations and 3D visualizations for scientific research, journal publications, medical education, and patient education materials. She received a BFA in Studio Art from Georgia Southern University and a MS degree in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her goals include improving health literacy and contributing to the growing need for inclusive and diverse representation within medical and healthcare literature. She is currently the Chair of the Diversity Committee within the Association of Medical Illustrators and a co-organizer for the SciVizNYC scientific visualization conference.
