As AAL’s Entrepreneur in Residence, Brance helps the US Army solve their toughest modernization challenges by identifying and connecting to the most promising companies in the country. Before joining AAL, Brance worked for Capital Factory, one of Texas’ premier early-stage startup accelerators and venture funds, building their corporate partnerships program.
Brance has spent the last eight years building innovation programs, advising large organizations on how to best leverage early-stage technologies, and cultivating communities in deep-tech innovation. His career began in academic research with a focus on autonomous helicopters, materials science, and computational mathematics.
Brance’s areas of interest include autonomous robotics, cybersecurity, and the intersection of technology and art.
